For the 12th consecutive year, the Crescenta Valley (CV) Meher & Satig Der Ohanessian Youth Center is happy to conduct an 8 week day-camp for area children starting June 17 through August 9, 2019. The camp will take place under the supervision of experienced Director Mrs. Arpi Dabbaghian and several assistants.
The camp's mission is to allow for a fun, friendly and educational environment in a safe location. The day camp will be held at our Center for children ages 5 and up. Children will enjoy various activities ranging from swimming (in the presence of a lifeguard), acting, cooking, yoga, dance routines, games, arts and crafts. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks will be served each day. The language of instruction is Armenian.
Summer camp will be open on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Extended hours will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Parents who need to pick-up their children late can benefit from the available extended hours for an additional fee of $10 per occurrence or $30 per week. The weekly camp attendance fee is $240 per child per week ($175 for the 4-day of July 4th week) or $65 per child per day.

For the second year, due to an increase in demand for campers and a lack of space at the original facility, the Youth Center will be renting out the hall of the Knights of Columbusí facility which is located at 2657 Honolulu Ave Montrose, two buildings to the West of the Youth Center. Some children will be moved to that facility for some of the activities. Such move, to and from the Youth Center, shall take place under the supervision of camp staff who will accompany the children during the move. Transportation will be by foot via the sidewalk without crossing any street.
